In Indianapolis we will primarily be serving children trapped in inner city poverty through Shepherd Community Center in their preschool and after school programs. Shepherd needs students who are willing to get their hands dirty, work one-on-one with the children in the school and after school programs, and have a deep desire to minister to members of the surrounding community. Working alongside Shepherd’s experienced staff and volunteers, students will gain a new perspective on poverty both in the classroom as well as first-hand.
