Team Verse – Micah 6:8
“He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
BIG God…small world. I happened upon this trip while reading the alumni newsletter. I’m Julie (Balkema ’96) Lewis. I spent many an hour in Dr Mitchell’s classes. I live in Memphis, TN, presently, and my husband and son visited Tegucigalpa last summer. What an experience you have ahead of you! I’m sure your visit is packed, but if you have any chance to contact David Hamilton with Impact Logistics (http://www.poihn.org/about/founder/), he is a very successful businessman here in Memphis and has founded Point of Impact Ministries that operates an orphanage in the city. He is wealth of knowledge and heart for the city and would be a fantastic contact for any needs or questions while visiting. I’m praying for a blessed trip!
